Mechanical Features:

Enclosure: IP23(NEMA 1) is standard for all industrial and marine generators .

Shaft & Keys:

All alternator rotors are dynamically balance to better than Bs6861 P.1,G2.5 for minimum vibration in operation .Two bearing generators are balanced with a half-key.

Terminal and terminal box

The 3 Phase alternators had 12 ends brought out to the terminal box .The terminals are put on the non drive end..The box is equipped with removable panels .

Voltage regulation:

Voltage regulation refers to the change of voltage from no-load to full-load with power factor ranging from 0.8 to 1 and 3%s fluctuation of the speed of engines .Voltage is adjusted using a trimmer on the AVR .

Electric Features:

 Insulation

The insulation system is class H/H

.All wound components are impregnated with materials and processes designed specifically to provide protection against the harsh environments encountered in generator applications. Resin based materials are selected and developed to provide the high build required for static winding and the high mechanical strength required for rotating components.

Winding and electric features

Generator stator is wound to 2/3 pitch. This eliminates triplen (3rd, 9th,15th…) harmonics on the voltage waveform and is found to be the optimum design for trouble-free supply of non-linear loads. The 2/3 pitch design avoids excessive neutral currents sometimes seen with higher winding pitches, when in parallel with mains. A full connected damper winding reduces oscillations during paralleling. This winding, with 2/3 pitch and carefully selected pole and tooth designs, ensures very low waveform distortion.

Application conditions:

1) The altitude does not exceed 1000m

2) Temperature of cooling air is 288~313K(-15℃~40℃)

3) Relative  humidity is not more than 90%
